Research-intensive, close to the border, well networked with SMEs – the FH Aachen has great potential to participate in EU projects. Unfortunately, far too little use is made of this yet. This strategy is meant to change this.

The partners' aim is a permanent continuation of the strategic transfer structures beyond the funding and specialize in the subject areas "Sustainability & Resource Efficiency", "Digitization" and "Demographic consequences".

STRAT-ABplus

The project EU-STRAT-AB aims to reinforce THAB Aschaffenburg's international research activities by promoting international networking and increasing the visibility of its research achievements. By incorporating existing international resources and protagonists, efficient service structures and activities are used to provide effective support for research within an international setting.

EU-Strategy HTW Berlin (EU-fit)

With discursively developed strategic concepts, HTW Berlin will improve the quality of applications in Horizon 2020. Visibility in the European research area will be increased by systematically connecting with European partners.

EU-Strategie-FH of the HWR Berlin

The HWR Berlin intends to initiate and consolidate the EU research co-operations in its main research areas. Therefore, it has created a dedicated EU service point and provides staff resources for the assistance in project applications.

EU-Strategie-FH: Management of change processes to increase success of applications in Horizon 2020

Within the scope of “EU-Strategie-FH”, Hochschule Bremen aims to develop and institutionalize necessary processes and structures to successfully support their scientist and administration in planning and managing EU-funded projects.

Strategic Support of European Research Competences

The EU Strategy Project of the University of Applied Sciences Darmstadt (h_da) aims to further develop the existing research-supporting structures and services of the university in the direction of EU research. It also provides information and financial support for applicants of EU-projects.

Challenge Horizon 2020 – Development and Implentation of a EU-Research strategy at the Univeristy of Applied Sciences Dresden

The HTW Dresden intends within HTWgoesEU an internal strategic transformation with a five-module EU research strategy to systematically increase the successful acquisition of EU research funding.

EU Research Lab

HNE Eberswalde and TH Wildau will build the EU Research Lab to develop innovative consulting and coordinating instruments within the structures of the EU Proposal Lab and the EU Project Lab. With these measures, prerequisites will be taken for the long-term establishment in the European Research Area.

EU-Strategy - University of Applied Sciences Emden/Leer

The project HSEL-H2020 applies three actions to improve success and strengthen the presence of the University of Applied Sciences Emden/Leer within the European Research Area: by establishing a dynamic proposal support tool for researchers, by implementing an international research strategy for the university and by introducing a talent management program to ensure the long term benefit of the measures.

Strategic set-up of European Partnerships at Frankfurt UAS (StEP)

The implementation of the project aims to ensure that an EU strategy is supported by many stakeholders and that a "culture of European cooperation" is anchored at the university. The strategy consists of five work packages that work in concert to achieve the intended goals.

The "EU Strategy-FH" project aims to raise awareness of the MUAS-scientists for European research programs and increase their participation in Horizon 2020. This should be achieved through optimally designed framework conditions and extensive support services.

Implementation of an EU strategy at the Technische Hochschule Nürnberg Georg Simon Ohm – OHM-FitForEU

The OHM-FitforEU project is dedicated to implementing an EU strategy to boost the potential of regional and national projects and to drive development, on the individual and institutional level, towards European networks and research collaborations in order to increase participation in the Research and Innovation Framework Program Horizon2020 and increase the reputation and visibility of the university’s own researchers in the international scientific community.

Establishment of the European Project Office in the Westphalian University of Applied Sciences in Gelsenkirchen (Euro-WHS)

EUPro-WHS plans to establish a European Project Office in order to increase the participation of the WHS in EU-Projects in Horizon 2020, giving support during the submission of the proposal and the implementation of the project.
