FHnet is a collegial network of Universities of Applied Sciences that exchange information and strategically promote EU activities. Originating from the BMBF’s ‘EU-Strategie-FH’ funding programme, we share information about the results of our project and network work and examples of EU research funding from Universities of Applied Sciences throughout Germany.
The internationalisation of research at Trier University of Applied Sciences is at the core of the START project. Here you can find out how this was successfully achieved through the institutionalisation of an EU advisory office, the early activation of newly appointed researchers and the integration of research into teaching.

Research-intensive, close to the border, well networked with SMEs – the FH Aachen has great potential to participate in EU projects. Unfortunately, far too little use is made of this yet. This strategy is meant to change this.
