FHnet is a collegial network of Universities of Applied Sciences that exchange information and strategically promote EU activities. Originating from the BMBF’s ‘EU-Strategie-FH’ funding programme, we share information about the results of our project and network work and examples of EU research funding from Universities of Applied Sciences throughout Germany.
Thanks to funding from the EU-Strategie-FH programme, HTW Dresden has been able to implement an internal strategic reorganisation with an EU research strategy comprising five building blocks to systematically embed the university in the European research landscape as part of the HTWDgoesEU project.

The HWR Berlin intends to initiate and consolidate the EU research co-operations in its main research areas. Therefore, it has created a dedicated EU service point and provides staff resources for the assistance in project applications.

Research-intensive, close to the border, well networked with SMEs – the FH Aachen has great potential to participate in EU projects. Unfortunately, far too little use is made of this yet. This strategy is meant to change this.
